I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Waseca in 1989. I passed the certification exam shortly after to become a certified veterinary technician. I worked at my internship location for six months in West Concord, MN before moving home to New Ulm and working for the New Ulm Regional Veterinary Center for almost 20 years. There has been a merger over the years and I was a part-time as well as now a full time employee over those years. A couple of the owners also owned a milk quality laboratory that I worked at for almost 10 years before they sold it to another larger based company. I was honored to receive the Veterinary Technician of the Year award in 2003 from MAVT. I have been married for 16 years and have two boys that keep us busy. We live in the country and enjoy our sheep, chickens, geese, dogs and cats. I enjoy quilting, walking and getting involved in the boys' school activities. I am a member of our local Humane Society, MAVT and NAVTA.
