I received my Associate in Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology on September 6, 1991 from the University of Minnesota, Waseca. From 1991 to 1996, I worked at a mixed animal practice. In 1995 I began working part-time at Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN, and was hired for a full time permanent position in 1996. In addition I am involved with Toastmasters and MN Responds. I am an avid trapper of feral cats and am an advocate for their welfare and control. Anatomy is of special interest to me as I enjoy repairing skeletons and collecting bones for students to use in class. For pets, I live with two house cats, four barn cats, one dog, one horse, 28 sheep, and 20 chickens, and the occasional stray cat that happens to wander in.
